Ashleigh

The 3•3∙3 Program played a huge role in setting Caidyn up for success. At his Grade 2 transition meeting, his school team specifically recognized the program’s impact on his progress. This year, Caidyn became fully toilet-trained and now recognizes when environments are too loud before he becomes overwhelmed. He had an incredible year at school, and for the first time, we feel confident about what comes next.

The growth we’ve seen in such a short time has been incredible. The 3•3∙3 Program gave Levi the opportunity to build independence, self-regulation, and confidence—and the changes have shown up in every part of his life. It has given us hope and reminded us just how capable our children are when we step back and give them the opportunity to show us what they can do. Until recently, Levi would only make a few scribbles on paper. Now he’s drawing people, filling the page with his ideas, and showing strength and control in skills that once seemed out of reach. He’s also started swimming independently in lessons and continues to surprise us with what he’s capable of.

Our 3-year-old son used to rely on a bottle to sleep, bang his head, eat only cheese and cheerios, meltdown in the bath, wear diapers and sleep exclusively with mom. Now he sleeps independently in his own bed, has stopped headbanging, eats with the family at the table and eats what they eat, takes a bath calmly and is 100% toilet trained.

After working with Erin, I went from struggling with communication and constant meltdowns to having my son calmly show me what he wants.

We didn’t know where to begin to prepare our daughter with Autism to start kindergarten. After working with Erin, we went from coping with frustrating problem-behaviours to our daughter sitting focused at the table, following routines and wearing underwear during the day. The first day of school was a piece of cake!

We adopted 12-year old twin boys and one has Autism. At first, we experienced many unpredictable, challenging, problem-behaviours like long meltdowns, toileting regression, refusals and sudden aggression toward himself and his new family. After working with Erin ALL problem-behaviours were significantly reduced and our home-life became predictable, calm and safe.

We knew we needed something to help our son, Finn, NOW and we were facing an 18-month waitlist. Finn’s behaviour was a constant struggle. We felt lost and frustrated, and there were many tears shed by everyone. Erin provided us with step-by-step instructions to help and she brought significant change to our home. Our family life is calmer and less stressful. We are grateful for Erin’s support and cheerleading.

We didn’t know how to keep our 3-year-old grandson safe when he was with us during the day while his parents were at work. Our entire family worked as a team with Erin to establish a safe, calm and predictable daycare environment with us, his grandparents. We no longer have to carry him to the car to keep him safe.

I first-hand witnessed Erin in the school setting provide clarity and a sense of calm for families on their journey with Autism. During our team meetings with parents, caregivers and doctors, Erin articulated well-crafted plans of support for our students. She knows first-hand how families struggle to get support in schools, and how to navigate the system. If you are a family of a child with Autism, call Erin.
